Program manager Infrastructure - Federal government


Our client is a company working exclusively for the federal government. The company employs 65 highly trained IT consultants.

As part of the effort to constantly modernize the public sector, our client is looking to hire a Senior Project manager.

As Program manager you will lead various IT programs that will allow you to coordinate a team of 10-15 project managers. Most of these programs are infrastructure based.

As an example, the current program is a network implementation program for over 2500 locations affecting roughly 45,000 users.

This position requires excellent planning and management skills.

The ideal profile will have:

* A university degree - must have
* A minimum of 6 years experience in project and/or program management
* A good general background in IT infrastructure technology
* Excellent knowledge of project management tools
* Knowledge of Prince 2 is an asset
* Excellent knowledge in at least French and Dutch
* Great leadership skills, organizational skills.
* Experience in leading projects in matrix organizations
